Center on Karnataka and Tamil Nadu after rising Covid-19 cases in Kerala:

In most of the states of the country, new cases of coronavirus have decreased in recent times. Maharashtra, which once became the Corona hotspot during the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, has also seen a decline in the number of cases, but the southern state of Kerala is still a cause for concern.

Meanwhile, the central government has said that due to Kerala, adequate measures need to be taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the neighboring states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a review meeting on this issue on Wednesday.

The Center has told the Health Ministers of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu that the Covid-19 cases do not increase due to Kerala in these states, so there is a need to take adequate steps. On behalf of the central government, it has been said that those districts of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, which are adjacent to Kerala, will have to take special steps there. The pace of vaccination will have to be accelerated.
