Coronavirus India Update: Country reports 36,000 Covid-19 cases, children to get vaccinated soon

Coronavirus India Update: 

Since the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country hasn’t ended yet, the Covid-19 cases in the country have risen all over again, in the ongoing month of August. The country reported 35,000 Covid-19 cases earlier, and the toll has now surged to 36,571 Coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours. 

The death toll of Coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours has reached 540, while 36,555 people recovered from the Coronavirus in India.

However, 58% of the total Covid-19 cases in India are being reported from Kerala itself. The Covid-19 cases in various states of the country have fallen, while only 5 states have reported 85% of the total Covid-19 caseload of India.

Total Covid-19 death toll in India: 4,33,589

Various state governments have already started preparing for the expected third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the main focus on children. Many Covid-19 vaccine manufacturing companies in the country conducting trials of Coronavirus vaccines on children. 

While speculations state that the country is expected to provide Covid-19 vaccines for children from 2 to 18 years of age by the year-end.
