Coronavirus India Update: NITI Ayog warns center of 3rd wave of Covid-19 pandemic, country to report 4-5 lakh cases in September

Coronavirus India Update:

A recent warning considering the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country has been issued. The National Disaster Management Authority under the Home Ministry has submitted a report, and it is being stated that the month of October will be the peak for the third wave of Coronavirus pandemic.

NITI Ayog statement: September may witness 4-5 lakh Covid-19 cases each day:

While the NITI Ayog has stated that the month of September is likely to report 4-5 lakh Covid-19 cases on daily basis, and hence, at least 2 lakh ICU beds must be available from now itself. 

The NITI Ayog also warned that the 3rd wave of the Covid-19 pandemic can be even worse than the second wave, and hence, at least 2 lakh ICU beds with ventilators, 7 lakh normal hospital beds, and 10 lakh Covid-19 isolation beds must be made available across the country.

This information has been collected and carefully analyzed by the NITI Ayog by following the pattern of the patients admitted to hospitals during the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India. 

India Covid-19 cases today:

However, according to the Union Health Ministry, the lowest number of new cases were reported in the last 160 days and the total number of active cases was the lowest in 155 days. Coronavirus new cases are decreasing in UP, Bihar, Delhi. The recovery rate in India is 97.63%. The country has reported 25,072 coronavirus cases within the past 24 hours.

At the same time, the total vaccination of Corona has reached 58,25,49,595. The Central Government and DCGI may soon approve the Covaccine vaccine for children.
