Coronavirus Update: Intimidating speed of Corona in Delhi, new cases cross 3000

More than 3 thousand new cases of corona infection have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. This is the second consecutive day when more than three thousand cases of corona have come. Earlier yesterday i.e. on Thursday, 3,303 cases of corona have been registered. The Ministry of Health has issued an update regarding Corona on Friday morning.

The Health Department said that two more patients died due to the epidemic and the infection rate was recorded at 4.62 percent. More than one thousand daily cases of infection were reported in the national capital for the seventh consecutive day.

Hospitalization rate is low

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said on Tuesday that the cases of Covid-19 have increased in the capital but people are not getting seriously ill and the rate of hospitalization patients is low. He attributed the rate of hospitalization to vaccination and naturally acquired immunity.

He also said that there is no need to panic about the cases of Covid infection in children. He said that several sero surveys show that although the infection rate in children and adults is almost the same, the severity of the disease in children is 'very low'.

Corona cases stats

The number of active cases of corona in the country is now 17,801. According to official figures, this virus has killed 5,23,753 people in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, 22,80,743 doses of corona vaccine have been administered in India. With this, the number of corona vaccine doses so far in the country has reached 1,88,65,46,894. The maximum number of new cases of corona infection are coming from the capital Delhi. More than 1000 new cases of Kovid-19 have been found here for the 7th consecutive day. On Wednesday, 32,248 samples were tested in Delhi.
