Due to the increasing cases of Corona Virus in Uttar Pradesh and also all across the country, while the reports state that the state witnessed 2,966 new Covid-19 cases and even 16 people have lost their battle against the deadly virus.
So, in this situation, to keep up with the safety of the citizens and also the school-going children, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has sent a suggestion to the Uttar Pradesh CM office to shut down the classes for students from 9th standard to 12th standard until 11th April 2021.
Deputy CM of Uttar Pradesh, Dr Dinesh Sharma has advised the CM of UP, Yogi Adityanath to discontinue the classes for students from 9th to 12th for students from all the government, semi-government, private and government-aided schools. While the reports also state that a decision in this regard will be made lately by today, i.e., 3rd April 2021.
However, it has also been stated that the District Magistrate of a particular district is competent enough to make a decision to close the school of their district at their level. Moreover, it has also been mentioned that closing the schools and discontinuing the classes for students will not affect the upcoming UP Board Exams 2021.
The UP Board Exams 2021 will soon be conducted in its full swing in the month of May 2021, soo after the UP Panchayat Election 2021.
It must be noted that the Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has directed the closure of all the government-aided, private and government school for the students from Class 9th to 12th until 11th April 2021.
