CRPF Women Bike Rally: 75 CRPF women commandos left Delhi riding on bullet motorbikes- Watch Video

On the occasion of the nation's 75th anniversary of independence, 75 CRPF women bikers will travel by bus from Delhi to Chhattisgarh. The yatra began on March 9 in Delhi and will conclude on March 23 in Chhattisgarh. This trip will cover a distance of more than 1700 kilometres. During this trek, these 75 lethal women commandos of the CRPF will be shot in the Naxalite stronghold. These 75 CRPF women commandos set out on Thursday from India Gate in Delhi. The CRPF Women Motorcycle Rally was set off at India Gate by Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Culture.

The purpose of this journey of 75 CRPF women commandos from New Delhi to Jagdalpur is to give the message of women empowerment in Naxal-affected areas of Chhattisgarh, to the women there.

CRPF Deployed in Naxalite affected areas

In fact, the CRPF is deployed in Naxal-affected areas of Chhattisgarh, where it has been fighting them for almost 20 years. Jagdalpur is one of the most Naxal-affected areas, where CRPF has shown its valor several times and jawans have given martyrdom in anti-Naxal operations. Now when the security forces have got great success in the anti-Naxal campaign in recent times, then this campaign will prove to be an important link to connect with the social fabric of those areas.
