CUET 2022 Exam: National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam to enrol students into various Under Graduate programmes offered at all central universities of India including DU, JNU, JMI, EFLU and the University of Allahabad.
Students who want to study undergraduate programmes in central universities have to appear in the CUETwhich has been made compulsory. A student’s Board marks will have no role in determining his/her admission to a college or a programme. It will be based only on his/her CUET marks, however, board marks could be the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.
Registration process has been started from 06th April 2022 onwards and ends on 06th May 2022 at 5 pm. The exam is likely to be held in the 1st and 2nd week of July 2022 in 2 slots, Slot 1: 195 minutes (3:15 hours) and Slot 2: 225 minutes (3:45 hours).

Registration process is to be conducted in online method on https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/. The CUET 2022 application process would comprise steps including registration, application, image upload and payment. The candidates looking forward to admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at several centrally-funded universities must have to submit online applications at the official website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
Candidates aspiring to give the CUET 2022 Exam can check the required eligibility criteria set by National Testing Agency for admission to UG (undergraduate) & PG (postgraduate) Courses before they start filling out their application form.
Undergraduate: The student must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th for General category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Postgraduate: The student must have scored a minimum of 55% (General category) and 50% (SC/ST/OBC/PWD category) in Graduation Degree. In some places, there is a different cut off for the OBC candidate students.
PhD Programme: The candidate must have a post-graduate degree in the particular stream with a minimum of 55% marks for general candidates, 50% marks for OBC candidate and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidate.
NTA will CUET Exam in 13 languages, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu.
1. CUET 2022 will be conducted in an online mode this year, earlier, the exam was offline.
2. CUET (UG) – 2022 will consist of the following 4 sections:-
Section IA – 13 Languages
Section IB – 19 Languages
Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects
Section III – General Test
3. The question paper will be MCQ type only and there will be a total of 175 questions out of which 140 questions are to be attempted.
4. A Candidate can choose a maximum of any 3 languages from Section IA and Section IB together.
5. Section II consists of 27 Subjects, out of which a candidate may choose a maximum of 6 Subjects.

Section IB Languages (19): French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese.

CUET Admit Card will be released on the official website around 10 to 15 days before the exam date announced for CUET 2022. The CUET Admit Card will consist of the exam centre address, exam timings application number and course applied. CUET hall ticket 2022 along with a valid photo ID is the mandatory document on the day of the examination.
