Climate Change Mission Launched in Tamil Nadu
The goal of the Tamil Nadu Climate Change Mission, announced on Friday by Chief Minister M. K. Stalin of Tamil Nadu, is to safeguard the state's natural resources while also long-term restoring them. The state will become carbon neutral well before the 2070 target set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he claimed at the launch of the ground-breaking initiative, which puts the climate agenda on the top of the list of priorities given the state's already established district missions and climate officers.
