World AIDS Day 2022
World AIDS Day is held every year on December 1. The day gives everyone a chance to unite and fight against HIV. Moreover, this day is also an opportunity for people to show support for patients suffering from HIV, while also commemorating those people who have lost their lives from diseases associated with AIDS. "Equalize" is this year's World AIDS Day theme. It's a rallying cry to get serious about addressing disparities and doing everything we can to end AIDS.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar bestowed with 'The Emissary of Peace' award in US
The National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, presented the esteemed "The Emissary of Peace" award to Indian spiritual pioneer and world humanitarian Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The founder of the non-profit Art of Living, which offers a number of stress-reduction and self-development programmes based on breathing exercises, meditation, and yoga, is 66-year-old Shankar, who is addressed by followers with honorifics like Sri Sri and Gurudev.
BSF Raising Day 2022
In 2022, India will commemorate its 58th BSF Raising Day on December 1. The Raising Day Parade of India's first line of defence is being held in Punjab for the first time and for the second time outside of the capital. The Border Security Force (BSF) will hold its 58th Raising Day Parade on the Guru Nanak Dev University campus on December 4.
