The Geological Survey of India (GSI) has approved the setting up of the country's first geopark at Lamheta village on the banks of the Narmada river in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh, local MP Rakesh Singh.

 

Delhi: Home delivery of medicines under SeHAT scheme

The defence ministry started the home delivery of medicines for veterans and serving military personnel in Delhi, seeking healthcare services under an online medical consultation platform. The home delivery of medicines under Services e-Health Assistance and Teleconsultation (SeHAT) will be started with the Base Hospital in Delhi Cantonment and the scheme would be extended to more and more stations in the future.

 

Andhra Pradesh raising retirement age of govt employees from 60 to 62

The Andhra Pradesh government on Monday increased the retirement age for its employees by two years to 62. Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan promulgated the AP Public Employment (Regulation of Age of Superannuation) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2022 to this effect.

Lt Gen GAV Reddy appointed Lt Gen KJS Dhillon As Defence Intelligence Agency Head

Lieutenant General GAV Reddy, SC, has been appointed as the new head of the Defence Intelligence Agency. General Reddy would be succeeding Lt Gen KJS Dhillon. The Director-General of the Defence Intelligence Agency is the head of the organisation and is among the principal advisors on intelligence to the Minister of Defence and the Chief of Defence Staff.
