Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva Became the New President of Brazil 

On Sunday, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was sworn in as the new President of Brazil. He is a left-wing politician who held the country between 2003 and 2010. He has held the country's highest office. Lula vowed to rebuild a country in "terrible ruins" in his speech. 

Croatia joins Schengen zone and Adopts Euro as the Currency 

Croatia joins the border-free Schengen zone and replaces its currency Kuna with Euro. Since 2012, when it became ethe member of the EU, Croatia was determined to change its currency. Allowing almost 400 million to freely travel between the countries, Croatia became the 27th country in the Schengen area.

Al Nassr announce signing of Cristiano Ronaldo 

After signing a two-and-a-half-year deal until 2025,  Cristiano Ronaldo is officially an Al Nassr player. With this, his European football comes to a culmination. His month his contract was mutually terminated by with Manchester United.
