Umran Malik become fastest bowler of India
In the inaugural T20I match between India and Sri Lanka on Tuesday at the Wankhede Stadium, India's speedster Umran Malik bowled the fastest ball ever recorded in international cricket at 155 kph and dismissed the Sri Lanka skipper. Jasprit Bumrah's record for reaching the fastest speed among Indian speedsters was broken by Umran. The top speed of Bumrah was 153.36 kph.
Hydrogen Blended PNG Project Starts Operation at NTPC Gujarat
Gujarat's NTPC Kawas is home to the country's first environmentally friendly hydrogen mixing facility in the PNG network. NTPC and Gujarat Gas collaborated on the project (GCL). According to the energy production firm, P. Ram Prasad, Kawas's head of project, in the presence of other senior NTPC Kawas and GCL executives, started the first molecule of green hydrogen from the project.
First woman officer to be posted at Siachen Glacier
The Fire and Fury Corps of the Indian Army's Captain Shiva Chauhan is the first female officer to be operationally deployed at the highest battleground in the world, Siachen. Ms. Shiva had to go through gruelling training before she was assigned to the Kumar Post.
