The Jaga mission is a programme for slum rehabilitation and land titling that attempts to improve the lives of slum inhabitants.
During the third Test match between South Africa and Australia in Sydney on Thursday, Steve Smith broke Don Bradman's record of 29 Test hundreds. At the moment, there isn't a batsman in Test cricket who belongs to this level. Joe Root and Virat Kohli each have 28 hundreds. Kuldeep Singh Pathania, a five-term legislator from the Bhattiyat district, was unanimously chosen on Thursday to serve as the 18th speaker of the Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly. The name of Pathania for the position of speaker was proposed in three motions that were submitted by the chief minister, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the deputy chief minister, Mukesh Agnihotri, and the Solan MLA Dhani Ram Shandil. On Wednesday's first day of the first session of the 14th HP legislature, only 65-year-old Pathania filed a nomination.
