The appointment of veteran banker Surinder Chawla as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of India's homegrown Paytm Payments Bank has been authorised by the RBI, according to One 97 Communications on Sunday. To promote the next stage of growth, Paytm's payment bank has reinforced its leadership team. Chawla will lead the Paytm Payment Bank for a three-year period.
