According to a notification from the Government, Pankaj Kumar Singh, the former director general of the Border Security Force (BSF), is appointed as India's deputy national security advisor (Dy NSA) on Tuesday. The Kalashnikov AK-203 assault weapon is now being produced in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, by an Indo-Russian joint venture, giving the Indian armed forces more firepower. AK-203 rifles will only be produced in India, according to proposals by Indo-Russian Rifles Private Limited. In the future, the business might also boost output and modernise its manufacturing facilities to build upgraded guns based on the Kalashnikov assault rifle platform, according to a statement from Rostec State Corporation.
