India Successfully Tests Fires Prithvi-2 missile
DRDO successfully test-fired Prithvi-II ballistic missile at 7.40 pm on Wednesday at ITR Launching Complex 3 in Balasore, Odisha. It is a nuclear missile, capable of surface-to-surface strikes. The Prithvi 2 missile has been developed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) with indigenous knowledge research. The surface-to-surface missile is equipped with two liquid-fuel engines. It is powered by both liquid and solid fuels.

Telangana: India’s first display fabrication unit to be set up soon
Telangana will be home to India’s first display fabrication company, it was announced by IT and industries minister K.T. Rama Rao. Karnataka-based Elest, set up by Rajesh Exports, a Fortune 500 company, will set up the Generation 6 Amoled display fabrication unit with an investment of `24,000 crore. The proposed unit will manufacture next generation displays for smartphones, tablet computers and laptops.
