International Yoga Day 2022

he 8th International Day of Yoga (IDY-2022) demonstration will be held on 21st June 2022 at Mysuru in Karnataka. Minister of Ayush Sarbanand Sonowal announced that the venue for Mass Yoga Demonstration has been selected. The International Day of Yoga would also be falling in the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” year for which the ministry has planned to observe the International Day of Yoga at 75 iconic locations across India and will also help in branding India on a global scale. 8th International Day of Yoga (IDY) will be celebrated all over the world with the theme “Yoga for Humanity”. Ministry of AYUSH has chosen this theme for the 8th International Day of Yoga 2022 to be organised on June 21, 2022.

World Hydrography Day 2022

It is celebrated on June 21st. The International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) established this day as an annual commemoration of hydrographers' efforts and to highlight the importance of hydrography. It also raises awareness about the importance of safe navigation and the preservation of marine life. World Hydrography Day 2022 theme is "Hydrography - contributing to the United Nations Ocean Decade".

World Rainforest Day 2022

World Rainforest Day is celebrated on June 22nd to honour and promote the world's rainforests.
 Deforestation, on the other hand, is responsible for 15% of global carbon dioxide emissions, resulting in climate change. World Rainforest Day was founded to raise awareness about the risks of deforestation. It is estimated that rainforests in the Amazon basin provide 20% of the oxygen we breathe.
