World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day is celebrated on May 8 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the founder of the Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Henry Dunant. He was born on 8th May 1828 in Geneva and the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. The theme of the World Red Cross Day 2022 is #BeHumanKind.

A rare case of monkeypox has been diagnosed in a patient in England. Monkeypox's initial symptoms include fever, headache, muscle aches, backache, swollen lymph nodes, chills and exhaustion.
Jet Airways Received Security Clearance from the Government
Jet Airways got security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs. The airline has inched forward towards resuming its commercial services in the country in the next few months. Tata Power Solar has commissioned a 160 MW AC solar project at Jetstar, Rajasthan.
Around 6,75,000 monocrystalline PV modules were used in this installation and it will produce 387 million units of energy per year, according to a statement given.
