An Seyoung of South Korea won the title in the Women's Singles division by defeating Akane Yamaguchi of Japan by scores of 15-21, 21-16, and 21-12.
An IIT Madras-incubated company has created an indigenous mobile operating system dubbed BharOS that can be installed on readily available commercial handsets. On January 24, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw successfully tested the BharOS.
