IPL: Virat Kohli Creates History, Becomes First Batsman To Score 7000 Runs

Virat Kohli established IPL history by becoming the first batter to reach 7000 runs. The milestone was reached on Saturday, May 6, during the league stage match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Arun Jaitely Stadium. 

Union Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurates country’s first Air Force Heritage Centre

Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, opened the nation's first Indian Air Force Heritage Centre on Monday in Chandigarh's Sector 18.The IAF's involvement in numerous wars is highlighted in the heritage centre, which occupies 17,000 square feet at the Government Press Building. In addition to giving guests access to the cockpit and a flight simulator experience, it houses five antique aircraft. Additionally, it houses the first IAF-produced patent aircraft, the Air Force "Kanpur-1 Vintage Prototype Aircraft," a single-engine indigenous aircraft that was created and constructed by the late Air Vice Marshal Harjinder Singh in 1958 at Base Repair Depot Kanpur.
