Congo Joins International Solar Alliance
Congo has been welcomed to the International Solar Alliance by India. The International Solar Alliance Framework Agreement was signed in the presence of Joint Secretary, according to the External Affairs Ministry, by Ambassador Raymond Serge Bale of the Republic of Congo (Economic Diplomacy). The International Solar Alliance (ISA) is a forum for increasing adoption of solar energy technology that is member-driven, action-oriented, and collaborative. Its primary goals are to support energy access, guarantee energy security, and promote energy transition in the nations that make up its membership.
Digi Yatra to be implemented at Kolkata, Pune, Vijayawada and Hyderabad Airports
The Ministry of Civil Aviation will implement Digi Yatra at Kolkata, Pune, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad airports starting in March of this year with the goal of providing passengers with a seamless and hassle-free check-in experience at airports, Minister of State for Civil Aviation VK Singh informed the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Digi Yatra's main goal is to improve the passenger experience by doing away with the necessity for ticket and ID verification at several contact points and to increase throughput using the current infrastructure and a digital framework.
K. Viswanath, Indian Filmmaker Known for Tackling Social Issues, Dies at 92
The socially conscious Indian filmmaker Kasinadhuni Viswanath passed away from age-related ailments on February 2 in Hyderabad. He was 92. The Indian caste system, handicap, gender discrimination, misogyny, alcoholism, and the difficulties experienced by Indian traditional performing arts forms were some of the subjects Viswanath explored during his career as a filmmaker.
