CWG 2022 IND vs PAK: India beats Pakistan, PV Sindhu amazes with her game, Birmingham Commonwealth Games

CWG 2022 IND vs PAK: PV Sindhu once again proved why she is the ace shutler of India, At the 22nd Commonwealth Games, India's senior badminton players defeated Pakistan in their opening team match. B Sumit Reddy and Machimanda Ponnappa prevailed 21-9, 21-12 in their match as well. The game took place at Alexander Stadium's National Exhibition Center. Pakistan and the Indian team both displayed their young as well as veteran players.

India beats Pakistan in Badminton tournament

In the opening mixed doubles match, Ashwini Ponnappa and B Sumeeth Reddy, two of badminton's top players, defeated Pakistan's Mohammad Bhati and Ghazala Siddiqui. In addition, PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth won their respective matches while giving India a strong start against the opponent.


Commonwealth Games 2022 update


The duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and B Sumeeth Reddy won the first set 21-9. Following that, both of them defeated the Pakistani team 21-12 in the second set. India trounced Pakistan 3-0 in the opening match of the group stage. PV Sindhu defeated Pakistan in the singles event by defeating Mahur Shahzad 21-7, 21-6.
