Cyclone Mocha: In the country’s coastal regions, the risk of the storm is high. Other plain states in the nation are also being impacted. Strong winds and rain were both reported in various states on May 7. Currently, a low-pressure area can be seen over the South Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
On May 9, there is a chance that this storm may weaken and become a depression. On May 10, this storm will resemble a cyclonic storm in the Andaman Sea’s adjacent Southeast Bay of Bengal and East Central Bay of Bengal. The path of the cyclone and its landfall are being closely watched by the meteorological department. The Meteorological Department has not yet provided any information about the extent of this cyclone’s impact on Bengal, though.
