The Central Government has appointed Abhay Kumar Singh as Joint Secretary of the recently constituted Ministry of Cooperation to strengthen the cooperative movement in the country. Abhay Kumar Singh is a 2004 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Bihar cadre and has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the newly created Ministry. They will have a combined tenure of seven years in the ministry.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the road leading to the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya will be named Kalyan Singh Marg. Along with this, the idea of renaming Aligarh airport after Kalyan Singh is also going on. It is being told that a decision can be taken soon in the cabinet regarding this. Kalyan Singh was born in Atrauli, Aligarh. Kalyan Singh was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh twice. The Central Government has announced a National Monetization Pipeline worth Rs 6 lakh crore. Through this scheme, monetization will be done from infra assets in the road, railway to the power sector. Its objective is to monetize infrastructure assets, ranging from energy to road and railway sectors.
