Senior diplomat Harish Parvathaneni has been appointed as the new Ambassador of India to Germany. The Ministry of External Affairs gave this information. Parvathaneni is a 1990 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service and is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Delhi Headquarters of the Ministry of External Affairs.

China's education minister said that the inclusion of Xi Jinping's ideas in the national curriculum would help instill a Marxist ideology among the youth.
Global asset advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield said in a statement that China continues to rank first in the Global Manufacturing Risk Index-2021. The index measures attractive or profitable destinations for global manufacturing out of 47 countries in Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific (APAC). The statement said that India ranks second after China among the most sought-after manufacturing destinations. In this list, America is third, Canada fourth, Czech Republic fifth, Indonesia sixth, Lithuania seventh, Thailand eighth, Malaysia ninth, and Poland tenth.
