Another horrific incident of how unsafe girls are in the country's capital Delhi has come to the fore, where two masked bike-borne men threw acid on a 17-year-old girl who was leaving home to go to school in West Delhi's Uttam Nagar on Wednesday morning. Due to this, the girl's face was badly burnt and she has been admitted to Safdarjung Hospital in critical condition. When the girl was going to school, her younger sister was also with her and she told the whole story of the acid attack. The younger sister informed that as soon as her face was attacked with acid, her sister screamed and asked her to call her father immediately.
The younger sister of the victim narrated her eyewitness account of the incident and said that when both of them were going to school, both the accused came on a bike and suddenly threw acid on her sister's face. After this, his sister started sobbing and started moaning in pain. She shouted loudly and started asking him to call her father. The younger sister told that she recognized both the accused and they did not study in her school. Please tell that the girl's face has been scorched up to eight percent and her eyes are also affected. He told that the girl has been admitted to the burn ICU ward of Safdarjung Hospital and her condition remains stable.
