Delhi Building Collapse: A 4-storey building collapses in Delhi's Azad Market, several workers died in the accident

An under-construction four-storey building has collapsed in Delhi's Azad Market area. It is being said that 5 laborers are trapped in the debris of the building. At the same time, there are reports of two people getting injured. The call for its fall was received at 8:50 am, after which the rescue team had reached the spot.

3 people died in the accident

Around 9.30 am, ADO Ravinder said that 3 people have died in this accident. With this, 6 to 7 people are feared trapped under the debris. Actually, construction work was going on in the building in Sheesh Mahal of Azad Market area that suddenly the building collapsed during this time. The call for its fall was received at 8:50 am, immediately after which the rescue team was dispatched. 

At present, the local people are also engaged in relief and rescue work along with the rescue team on the spot. It is being told that the building was being built for four storeys, so the debris is also very high. Police and local people are assisting in clearing the debris. People present at the spot say that many people are feared to be trapped in this, but no one knows the exact figure.

Relief and rescue work still going on

Officials on the matter say that the information about the building collapse was received at around 8:30 in the morning. It was told that house number 754 in Sheesh Mahal area got frozen, after which four fire tenders were dispatched to the spot. At present, relief and rescue work is going on. According to the report, more than 6 people are buried under the debris.
