Voting has begun following the buzz of the Delhi MCD elections campaign. 250 of Delhi MCD's wards are voting today, for which all necessary preparation has been made. The Aam Aadmi Party, which is in power in Delhi, is awaiting its first victory in the MCD, while the BJP is claiming victory for the fourth time in a succession.This will be the first election following the MCD's reunification earlier this year. The number of booth centres has been increased to 13,665 in Delhi where the election will take place. In sensitive locations, Delhi Police is constantly on patrol. The voting site has been well-prepared for security. These booths all have CCTVs installed.
As voting for the Delhi MCD elections began, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia criticized the BJP with failing miserably to serve the needs of the city's residents by doing nothing for Delhi for the previous 15 years.
