There is voting for the Municipal Corporation elections in Delhi tomorrow. Polling stations have been set up in all government schools for voting on December 4. In such a situation, there is a holiday in all government schools in view of their preparation, instead of this, the schools will open on the second Saturday of December 10.
Voting for 250 wards of Municipal Corporation of Delhi will be held on December 4 i.e. tomorrow and its results will be released on December 7. Voting will be held tomorrow from 8 am to 5.30 pm. 1349 candidates are trying their luck in the elections. There are about 47 per cent fewer candidates this time as compared to the elections of the three corporations held five years ago. In 2017, 2537 candidates were in the fray in all the three municipal elections.
The Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) has made changes in the metro operations on the polling day i.e. Sunday. Metro services will be started from 4 am on Sunday. Metro will be available on all lines at an interval of every half an hour from 4 am to 6 am. After 6 am, the normal frequency will continue like normal days.
