The country's first rapid rail is going to start from March. This is India's first rapid rail with the quickest speed, traveling at 160 km/h. In Ghaziabad, on Wednesday, the Rapid Rail was observed traveling at speeds of high to 160 km/h on the 17-kilometer route between Sahibabad and Duhai. The train had previously been tested between Duhai and Guldhar stations.
The rapid train would be able to travel 50 minutes from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Meerut starting in June 2025. The National Capital Region Transport System, or NCRTC, has been working quickly to prepare this route during the testing procedure. The quick rail has a relatively similar appearance to the bullet train. Although it moves at a speed of 180 km/h, passengers will be able to travel by quick rail at a speed of 160 km/h.
