Weather Update: Delhi NCR to witness weather change; snowfall in hilly areas

There was some change in the weather in Delhi on Wednesday morning with strong winds, but the day was sunny. Meanwhile, the effect of fresh snowfall in other hilly states including Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh is expected to be visible in the field.

Snowfall and Rain in Hilly areas 

The weather has remained pleasant in most areas of North India. Snowfall and rain is still going on in the hilly areas. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the active Western Disturbance, the weather will remain dry for a few more days in the mountains. Snowfall and rain is expected to continue in Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. 

Delhi-NCR Weather Today

The heat is continuously increasing in the plains of North India. In many areas, the mercury is about to reach near 40 degrees with people already using fans even at night. However, many areas in the capital experienced rain on Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi NCR will be clear and sunny, with a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan.
