Reason not disclosed by Police

The police did not specify in the tweet the reason behind these special traffic restrictions.A Delhi Police official said that this traffic arrangement has been made because of the mega satyagraha protest proposed by the Congress.

A police official said the city sees a lot of traffic during the peak morning hours, especially on Mondays, as people leave their homes for their offices.Apart from this, many people return to Delhi after spending the weekend holidays."Since the rally is proposed in the morning, we had refused permission on Sunday itself, but still, elaborate security and traffic arrangements have been made in central Delhi," the official said.
