Delhi Weather: Ready to welcome rain next week? here is the latest update on Monsoon

The state of Uttar Pradesh and the nation's capital Delhi are both looking forward to the monsoon. The South-West Monsoon will be active once more starting on June 26, the Meteorological Department reports, it will cover the remaining regions of Gujarat, MP, and Bihar in addition to reaching North West India. The monsoon season is expected to last from June 30 to July 6 across the entire nation, according to the Meteorological Department's projection.

Delhi awaits monsoon

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the national capital's minimum temperature on Saturday was 24.30 degrees Celsius, which is 4 degrees below average. The Delhi-area cloud movement was anticipated by the IMD . For the following two days, the national capital's maximum temperature is forecast to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.

Monsoon to kick in next week

The weather agency predicts that Delhi may experience a modest increase in maximum temperature as a result of warm winds blowing in between clear skies. But beginning on June 27, there's a chance that the temperature will fall owing to thunderstorms and light showers. According to the IMD's forecast, there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms in Delhi on June 27, and starting on June 28, there is a chance of rain for four straight days. The minimum and maximum temperatures are predicted to be approximately 27 and 35 degrees Celsius, respectively, throughout this time.
Delhi may experience a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius on July 1. The monsoon will cover the entire nation by July 6.
