Earthquake: Tremors from an earthquake of a magnitude of 5.8 were felt in Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand

On Tuesday in the afternoon, Delhi-NCR residents felt earthquake vibrations. Tremors from the earthquake were also felt in numerous locations in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Pithoragarh, Almora, and Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, all experienced earthquake shocks. People felt the tremors in their homes and workplaces because they were so intense.

Joshimath and Ramnagar in Uttarakhand experienced earthquake-related shaking, and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh also reported tremors. The original information stated that the earthquake had a 5.8 magnitude. The earthquake's epicentre, which was 10 kilometres beneath the surface of the earth, was located in Nepal. Many states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttarakhand, felt the effects of the earthquake.

Arvind Kejriwal tweets about the earthquake

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, stated that tremors from the earthquake were felt in Delhi. I hope everyone is secure. People emerged from their homes as a result of the abrupt earthquake. The earthquake's light vibrations have also been felt in Shahjahanpur. Mild earthquake tremors have also been felt in Bareilly along with this. Nepal, India, and China are other nations impacted by the earthquake.
