The ED has been tightening its grip on Lalu Yadav and his family for quite a time now. The ED raided the homes of former railway minister Lalu Yadav’s family and close friends on Friday, March 11, in connection with the alleged land scam in exchange for a job. The ED announced on Saturday that it had discovered a 600-crore economic crime during its investigation.

Deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav responded to ED by tweeting. He said that the list of panchnamas created with signatures after the raid should be made public rather than spreading false rumors here and there or having news planted by the BJP government citing sources.

On Friday, Lalu Prasad tweeted about the ED raid, saying that he would continue to fight the Sangh and the BJP on ideological grounds. He said, “Never have I bowed down to them.”

“Nobody in my family or party will submit to your political views. We have also experienced the Emergency’s dark phase,” according to Lalu Prasad’s tweet. “We also engaged in that conflict.”

“My kids, my little granddaughters, and my pregnant daughter-in-law were forced to spend 15 hours in court by the BJP ED on spiteless, malicious charges. Will the BJP stoop to such a low level and fight a political battle with us?”
