Elon Musk again became the richest person in the world, Gautam Adani at 32nd place

Elon Musk did it again and the credit goes all to this infamous Tesla. Yes, the business magnate Elon Musk is yet again hitting the headlines and this time not for layoffs in twitter but for reclaiming his position as the world’s richest man. In December 2022, Musk saw a fall in his wealth rank as Louis Vuitton’s CEO Bernard Arnault took the first place, however as per the recent report in just 2 months Musk has taken the charge of the throne again.


Elon Musk becomes world’s richest man again

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and Twitter, has reclaimed his title as the world's richest person. The owner of the luxury goods firm LMVH, Bernard Arnault, was beaten by Elon Musk to take this position. Currently, data suggests that Musk's assets total $ 187 billion. Arnault has dropped to second place with a net worth of $185 (50) billion. Before him it was Amazon’s Jeff Bezos who held the title.


As the year 2023 kicked off it was reported that Elon Musk’s name has been recorded in the Guinness world record for losing the most money in history. Going by the reports Musk's overall losses have significantly eclipsed the previous record of $58.6 billion, set by Japanese tech billionaire Masayoshi Son in 2000.


Layoff at Twitter

Elon Musk acquired Twitter last year, and since then, it has undergone a number of adjustments, with layoffs being at their highest point. The New York Times reported that about 10% of the company's employees were let go by Musk; this suggests that almost 200 individuals lost their employment in the company’s most recent Lay off schedule.
