FIFA In India: PM Modi claims FIFA will soon be in India. PM Modi in North East

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Shillong on Sunday. There he also attended the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the North East Council in Shillong, Meghalaya. During this, PM Modi inaugurated several development projects during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the North Eastern Council in Shillong. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Ministers of North Eastern states also participated in this golden jubilee celebration. 

PM comments on Fifa in India

The Prime Minister said that we are watching today's game in Qatar (#FIFAWorldCup) and watching the foreign teams on the field. But I have faith in the youth of the country. So, I can say with confidence that the day is not far when we in India will celebrate a similar festival and raise the tricolor. The Prime Minister said that we are making sincere efforts to do away with corruption, favoritism, nepotism, violence, stalling of projects and vote bank politics. But you know that the roots of these diseases are very deep. So, we all have to root it out together.

Connectivity has increased in North East

PM Modi said that I congratulate all the brothers and sisters of Meghalaya for the connectivity, education, skill development and employment schemes that are being dedicated to the state. He said that digital connectivity does not only improve communication and communication. Rather, from tourism to technology, from education to health, facilities and opportunities increase in every field.
