Fire in Delhi's Anand Parbat, many slums turned into ashes

Incidents of fire are increasing rapidly in the scorching heat. A massive fire broke out in the slums of the Puppet Rehabilitation Colony in the Anand Parbat area of the capital Delhi. Many houses have come under the grip of this fire. Its video has also surfaced.  about 20 fire tenders have arrived. So far no one has been harmed by the fire. Relief work including extinguishing the fire is also going on. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained.


Fire Brigade’s response

Atul Garg, director of Delhi Fire Brigade, said that a fire was reported at 2.12 pm at Anand Parvat transit camp. He said that a total of 18 fire tenders were sent to the spot and the fire has been brought under control. About 50 shanties have been gutted due to the fire. Atul Garg further said that the cause of the fire is not yet known.

According to the information received, it is not possible to estimate how much damage has been done so far. At the same time, all the roads were sealed for some time to control the fire in the colony.

Other Fire incidents in Delhi

Even before this, a few days ago in Delhi, another incident of fire was in the headlines, in which three houses were burnt down due to fire and collapsed with a loud noise. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal expressed grief over the fire in Azad Market. He appreciated the efforts of the fire brigade and disaster management teams in controlling the fire. Kejriwal had tweeted that the fire department and disaster management teams controlled the accident.
