Firing in Rohini Court:
Jailed gangster Jitender Gogi was killed during firing at Delhi’s Rohini court on Friday i.e., 24th September 2021 (today), while he was found earlier this year operating freely from behind the bars.
As per the initial information received, Jitender Gogi was shot dead by his rivals while he was being presented at the court. The incident claimed the lives of three including Jitender Gogi, while a few were injured.

Rohini DCP Pranav Tayal said, "Two assailants in the uniform of advocate fired upon Gogi in court, following which police also opened fire.” While Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana shared that the culprits belonging to the ‘Tillu’ gang were “neutralized” by the officers, and it was “not a gang war.”

According to News 18 in March 2018, a ‘Tillu gang’ member was shot by the Jitender Gogi gang in Rohini court vicinity.
It must be noted that Jitender Gogi was arrested in April under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) by Delhi Police’s Special Cell. While the MCOCA proposal includes around 19 cases of murder and attempted murder, besides many dacoities, carjackings, extortions, and robberies.
As per the reports of Times of India, police states that Jitender Gogi, 30, has now started dealing in the property after he dropped out of school, and took over crime after his father’s death in 2010.
An FIR against Jitender Gogi from 2018 said “he fired at a man named Praveen in September 2010. Then, during elections at Shradhanand College, Delhi University, Gogi and his friends assaulted and shot at two men named Sandeep and Ravinder. Gogi was then arrested in October 2011. Thereafter, he formed a gang to earn money.”
Also known as Gogi Gangster, Jitender Gogi was a gangster who ran several extortion cases in Delhi and parts of Haryana. Gogi had a strong influence in South Delhi and the Sonipat region of Haryana.
Jitender Gogi gangster was 38 years old at the time of his death.
