G-20 India: From Food Festival to Marathon, see how the Conference will be organised in the National Capital

G20 Conference: In the coming days, Lutyens' Delhi will be seen in the colours of the G-20 conference. Food festival for food and Tulip festival, art festival, flower festival will be organized to welcome the guests. For this, there will be various programs in February and March. For this, NDMC is vigorously preparing. In view of the G-20 conference, the beautification of NDMC roads is also being done. Flower towers are also being set up on the roads connecting Connaught Place, Mandi House and India Gate. Along with this, signage is also being fixed on many routes.

G-20 countries will be part of the events

G-20 countries will also participate in the programs to be organized in Lutyens' Delhi. For this, representatives of these countries are also being invited to participate in it. In the food festival too, the cuisine of G-20 countries will be tasted. The guests of G-20 countries will be welcomed on March 1 and 2 through the Tulip Festival. G-20 countries will also be invited to the flower festival. Colorful flower plants will be seen in this floral festival.

Food festival will be organized on the theme

Citizens will be able to taste the cuisine of different countries at the Food Festival to be organized at Talkatora Stadium on February 11 and 12. The food festival will be organized on the theme International Year of Millets. Dishes made of coarse grains will be served in it. Citizens will be able to taste the delicacies by paying a fee.

Objective of Fodd Festival

According to NDMC, the main objective of this food festival is to make the public enjoy the cuisine of G-20 member countries and guest countries at one place. 29 guest countries, including all G-20 member states, have been invited to participate.

NDMC will assist them in providing the required space and stalls and on-site resources. Along with this, electricity water connections and dustbins will also be provided. The inviting countries can bring their own chefs, ingredients and manpower for the preparation of their dishes.New Delhi Municipal Council member Kuljit Chahal said that India is presiding over the G-20 summit under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In such a situation, NDMC is organizing various programs to increase the enthusiasm among the citizens regarding the event to be held in Delhi. We are ready to host the representatives of G-20 countries and welcome the people of Delhi.
