The meeting of the G-20 Tourism Working Group is starting from today in Srinagar, Kashmir. Earlier, the Chief Coordinator of the G-20 Indian Presidency, Harsh Vardhan said that the delegates attending this meeting will be able to come here and see how heaven is on earth. Srinagar is all set to host the 3rd G20 Tourism Working Group meeting from May 22-24.
The first meeting was held in February in Gujarat's Rann and the second in April in Siliguri in West Bengal. The objective of the Working Group meeting is to present the rich and diverse cultural identity of India and promote the tourism potential of the country to the world. At the same time, the central government has made a three-round security cordon by preparing a strategy to conduct the conference in a safe and calm environment.
