Gujarat Election 2022: Son filled the form against father, challenged in the electoral field. Dad vs Son

Publish Date: 15 Nov, 2022 |

In the Gujarat Election 2022, there is going to be a direct contest between Bhartiya Tribal Party (BTP) founder Chhotubhai Vasava and his son Mahesh Vasava in the Jhagadia seat of Bharuch district. While his son Mahesh Vasava filed his nomination as a BTP candidate, his father and party founder Chhotu Vasava is contesting as an independent candidate.

Reason for the difference between father and son

According to party sources, differences arose between the father and son after Mahesh decided to forge an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party, and Chhotu Vasava broke the alliance after he saw AAP workers and leaders of the BTP being forced into his party. She was stabbing BTP in the back by pulling towards her. When Chhotu Vasava announced an alliance with JDU, Mahesh disagreed. It seems that either BTP will break or Mahesh Vasava will take over the reins of the party.

Chotu Vasva gives statement

Chhotu Vasava said on Monday, I do not need the mandate, now the time has come that all parties should end the mandate system. Hundreds of workers joined the rally when 7-time MLA Chhotu Vasava was on his way to the Returning Officer's office to file his candidature this morning. Sources close to Chhotu said that he has filed a nomination as an independent candidate from the Jhagadia constituency.
