Gunner Raghvendra Last Rites: Amidst grief and fury, the mortal remains of the martyr merge into the five elements

On Thursday, state honours were presented to UP police constable Raghavendra Singh, who was killed while investigating the Prayagraj murder of Umesh Pal. Top police officials also visited Singh's village at this time to pay their respects. The town's youngsters carried Raghavendra Singh's body while shouts of "Zindabad" were also raised. The remains of Raghavendra Singh was sent to his home hamlet of Korihara in Lalganj Kotwali, Rae Bareilly, following the conclusion of the postmortem.

Body sent to village after postmorterm

Once Raghavendra Singh passed away, his remains was transferred to Korihara village in Lalganj Kotwali, Rae Bareilly, where he was born and raised. There were many people in the community to pay their final respects to the courageous soldier. Top police officials from Rae Bareli were also there at the time to tell the cop farewell. On learning of Raghavendra Singh's passing, all police personnel, including ADG Satish Ganesh and SP Alok Priyadarshi, conveyed their sorrow and condolences.
