H3N2 Virus wreaking havoc, Puducherry government decides on closing the school from March 16-26

H3N2 instances are rising across the nation's states creating havoc in people's minds. Many are afraid that H3N2 may spread after the nation was infected with the coronavirus. There has recently been news of one death each from Gujarat and Maharashtra. The sudden surge of H3N2 virus in India has prompted state governments to call on emergency meetings and rule out new laws and guidelines for the same. 

Puducherry government to close schools 

Junior schools have been closed in Puducherry for 10 days due to the rapidly rising number of H3N2 viruses in the state. According to Puducherry's Minister of Education Namassivam in the meeting it was decided that all classes from 1 through 8 would be closed for few days In light of the spike in H3N2 virus influenza cases in India.Education Minister Namassivam announced that schools will be suspended from March 10 to March 26.
