Gusts of cold air and thick clouds have made the weather pleasant since morning on Thursday. The torrential rain that started in the morning also ended the remaining heat in the season. The Meteorological Department has predicted drizzle to drizzle across the state till September 18. A warning has also been issued for heavy rain in about 20 districts.The Monsoon Trough is presently passing through Jaisalmer and Kota towards Northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining. It is likely to move towards South Uttar Pradesh through northwestern districts. Due to this, there may be heavy rain in some eastern and western districts along with adjoining districts of Madhya Pradesh of UP. On Wednesday, the capital recorded a maximum temperature of 26.7 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 24.8 degrees Celsius.

Apart from this, light rain was recorded in other districts. Due to heavy rains in the state, a drop in the day temperature was recorded. The highest temperature in the state was recorded at 35 degree Celsius in Lakhimpur Kheri and 33.7 degree Celsius in Moradabad. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 21.8 degree Celsius in Meerut and 23.4 degree Celsius in Kanpur Nagar.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there may be scattered rain with cloud movement in Lucknow and adjoining districts on Thursday. A warning has been issued for strong winds. The maximum temperature may be recorded around 27 °C and the minimum temperature is around 24 °C.
