Heavy Rain: There will be heavy rain in this state from October 01, be careful! IMD issued alert

Monsoon is now slowly departing from different states of the country, but before the farewell, many states are witnessing rain. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has informed that rain activities will increase in Odisha from October 1. Many parts of the state including Bhubaneswar are already witnessing rain. According to the Meteorological Department, Odisha is yet to get relief from the rains. 

Rainfall till october 1

According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, from today till 1 October, continuous rain will be seen in Bhubaneswar. These days a decrease in temperature can also be recorded here. Today the minimum temperature in Bhubaneswar was recorded at 25 degrees and the maximum temperature was 34 degrees.

It has been raining continuously in Odisha for the last several days. Let us tell you, the reason for the incessant rains in the state is the cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal and the surrounding area. HR Biswas, Director, Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, has said that the Odisha capital received the highest rainfall of 10.2 mm between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm on Monday.

Rainfall condition in other states

According to Skymet Weather, Himachal Pradesh received light to moderate rain with heavy rain at some places on the previous day. Light to moderate rain occurred at one or two places over Tamil Nadu. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Coastal Maharashtra Light to moderate rain has been recorded. While Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Northeast India, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Karnataka received light rain at one or two places.
