Due to Himachal assembly elections, BJP has played voter card on half the population of Himachal Pradesh i.e. women in 'Sankalp Patra - 2022'. There are 55 lakh 74 thousand 793 voters in the state, out of which 27 lakh 28 thousand 555 are women, who are capable of making and destroying the game. On which Political Parties have focused a lot. It has to be seen whether this plan comes to the understanding of women voters or not.
After releasing the Sankalp Patra, BJP National President JP Nadda said that BJP has done what it said, but also fulfilled the promises that it did not make. BJP gave 2 lakh families to two lakh people under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Promises like Ayushman and Him Care, Ujjwala Yojana, 125 units of free electricity and 50 percent discount to women were not made. Even the Jai Ram Thakur government has fulfilled them. He said, now the customs will not change the rule. We have given AIIMS, Hydro Engineering, Bulk Drug Park, Medical Device Park, Atal Tunnel to Himachal.
On the marriage of daughters of BPL family, financial assistance of Rs 51 thousand will be given by the government. Cycle will be given to school girls and scooty will be given to girl students studying beyond 12th standard. Women will be given interest free loans to build homestays and the loan amount of SHGs will be increased. For the care of mother and newborn, financial assistance of 25 thousand rupees will be given by the government. Under Devi Annapurna Yojana, three cylinders of LPG will be given to poor women free of cost.
Women above 30 years of age from poor families will be included in the Atal Pension Bima Yojana. A scholarship of Rs 2,500 will be given every month to the girl students who are in the top 5,000 in the 12th examination. The system of procurement and distribution of animal feed from fair price shops will be simplified. Women will be given Stree Shakti Card for the treatment of diseases not covered by Himcare card. Two girls hostels will be constructed in all the 12 districts. 33 percent reservation will be given to women in government jobs.
