IMD expressed the possibility of rain and thunder in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather can take a turn. Based on the weather conditions prevailing at this time, the Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of dust storms and thunderstorms with light rain in northern parts of Punjab and Haryana. Light dust storm is also very likely to occur over remaining parts of Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and isolated parts of Delhi NCR.

States with Chances of Rain

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in many states from Himachal Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of thunder, rain and hail with strong winds on May 16 and 17 in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Light rain is also likely in North Punjab and East Uttar Pradesh on May 16 and 17.

Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on May 16. At the same time, dusty winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kmph are likely in many areas of North Rajasthan on May 14 and 15. According to the Meteorological Department, at present, the Southwest Monsoon has advanced into South Andaman Sea, Nicobar Islands and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal. The Cyclonic Circulation lies over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining region. A Turf Line runs from Bihar to Assam and Meghalaya through Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. A Western Disturbance is persisting over North Pakistan. The cyclonic circulation lies over Kerala and adjoining parts of southeast Arabian Sea.
