Imran Khan Arrest: The roads of Pakistan have now been transformed into a battlefield, with countless lathi charges and several tear gas shells. Following the arrest, Imran Khan's Army is out on the streets. The issue of poverty had already caused division in Pakistan. The burning of Pakistan upon Imran's capture is now seen to be nearly likely. Supporters of Imran Khan's political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), took to the streets to protest against the arrest.

Why is Pakistan burning

Reportedly on Tuesday, Pakistan's paramilitary forces arrested former Prime Minister Imran Khan at a courthouse in the capital city of Islamabad. This incident has further escalated political tensions in a country that is already grappling with economic difficulties. Imran Khan’s supporters are protesting on the road which turned violent, with PTI supporters setting fires on vehicles and things across the country. In addition, some supporters raided the residence of the Pakistan Army Commander in Lahore, stealing food items from the kitchen before escaping.
