The Income Tax Department raided the residence of Bihar Government's Industry Minister Samir Kumar Mahaseth on Thursday morning itself. This raid was done at Samir Kumar Mahaseth's house in Patna. His house is Shivshakti Niwas, where the Income Tax Department team raided on Thursday. Not one or two but 20 to 25 officers were present in this team. The Income Tax Department team raided the residence of Samir Kumar Mahaseth at 7 am.

Samir Mahaseth comments on the matter

Sameer Mahaseth said that Income Tax has raided. Referring to a person, the minister said that the matter is related to his brother-in-law Jitendra, for whom the IT team has done this raid. Don't know what happens. Let's hope that it will be justified. He further said that he has no investment in Sakar Construction.

Sameer Mahaseth further said- "What will we say about anyone. I would only like to say that people had come for Jitendra ji. We had also come to see what was the matter." On the other hand, on a question of the media, do you think that you are not being implicated under a conspiracy? Responding to this, Minister Sameer Mahaseth said that he will not say anything on this now.

Raid on the case of Tax evasion

At present this case is being told of tax evasion. At the same time, the officials of the Income Tax Department also raided the Sakar Construction Company. During this, officials of the Income Tax Department went to the office of Son Bhawan in Patna and searched there. Sameer Mahaseth is not only the Industries Minister of Bihar Government but also a big businessman. The Income Tax Department raided his three locations in Patna. These include his Patliputra residence and his Sakar Construction Company. The raid was started at 7 am on Thursday.
